Prospect Lake 2025 Annual Treatment

SOLitude Lake Management will be treating Prospect Lake on Wednesday, April 23 to control the growth of nuisance aquatic vegetation.

The treatment involves Tribune (Diquat) and Captial XTR (Copper). That means residents, guests, renters and the public should avoid the following activities on the following dates:

Boating, Fishing, and Swimming	Thursday, April 24
Watering of Livestock	Friday, April 25
Direct Drinking	Sunday, April 27
Irrigation	Tuesday, April 29

After April 29, there are no restrictions concerning use of the lake.

As in prior years, the treatment is being conducted pursuant to a permit issued by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP), as well as an order of conditions issued by the Egremont Conservation Commission.
